When you have a question about your favorite sports team, your old high school, or the health of you or a loved one, what do you do? you look it up on a search engine on the internet, and you almost always find the answer that you are looking for. How do you communicate with your friends when you have a serious question about the homework due the next day, and you cell phone is not operating as it should? You send them an email, an instant message, or you talk to them through a social network, such as facebook, for example. What do you do when you have a teacher that wants to check all work electronically? You set up an account on Blogspot.com, and publish all of your work up on there. What is the common factor in all of these scenarios? The answer to this question is the internet.
Yes, the internet is a business for the people that offer the service. They charge, and sometimes over charge, the innocent consumers. For them, the internet is a great money maker. Although consumers paying for internet service are losing money, the internet greatly benefits them as well. Internet has many different features, such as being able to communicate with people, being able to find answers to an infinite number of questions, and playing many different types of games. Internet has been in my life for as long as I can remember, and I cannot imagine my life without this necessity.
